Job summary

CLS Health PLLC in Houston, TX is seeking a skilled X-ray Technician to provide diagnostic imaging support for orthopedic care. You will perform high-quality X-rays, educate patients on procedures, and collaborate with physicians to ensure timely image acquisition.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of radiography experience, proficiency with digital systems and PACS, and a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or certification in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• State licensure and/or certification as required by the state of practice.
• ARRT certification preferred.
• Minimum 1-2 years of X-ray Technician experience, orthopedic/clinical setting preferred.
• Proficiency with digital radiography and PACS systems.
• Strong orthopedic imaging knowledge and anatomy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fast-paced accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging: accurate X-rays following orthopedic protocols and safety guidelines.
• Educate and position patients, ensuring comfort and radiation safety.
• Operate and maintain X-ray equipment, perform calibrations and inspections.
• Collaborate with orthopedic physicians and staff for timely image acquisition.
• Process images using digital radiography systems and manage EMR image files.
• Conduct quality control and address equipment issues as needed.
