SCA Health is seeking an X-ray Technologist to perform diagnostic X-ray procedures, adjust equipment, and ensure patient safety and high-quality images. You will work closely with physicians and staff to deliver excellent service in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, ensuring proper positioning, and maintaining records. A strong focus on radiation safety and the ability to educate patients on procedures are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school graduate or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of X-ray experience.
• Outpatient orthopedic clinic experience preferred.
• Strong verbal, written, and telephone communication skills.
• Ability to educate patients and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Communicates and provides excellent service to all patients.
• Instructs patients on X-ray procedures and preparations, including shielding.
• Prepares patient for X-ray and ensures proper positioning.
• Completes X-rays per protocols.
• Maintains logs and records pertaining to X-rays.
• Maintains a clean, organized X-ray room.
• Maintains high standards of radiation safety.
