Job summary

RiseMe in New York is seeking an Orthopedic Surgery Veterinary Technician to join a busy small animal surgery service. You will assist with appointments, procedures under sedation, and anesthesia, performing diagnostic workups including digital radiography and CT.

You will work closely with boarded surgeons, residents, and veterinary students in a fast-paced teaching environment. The role offers health insurance and paid time off with a path toward a TEAMS salary plan, for full-time employees

Qualifications

• Veterinary Technician I requires HS diploma or equivalent and 1 year relevant experience.
• Veterinary Technician II requires credentialed veterinary technician.

Responsibilities

• Assist with appointments and small procedures under sedation and anesthesia in sterile and aseptic conditions.
• Perform diagnostic workups including digital radiography and CT.
• Provide nursing care and client communication under supervision of boarded surgeons, residents, and students.
