Thrive Pet Healthcare's Veterinary Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Group in Annapolis Junction, MD is hiring a Full-Time Registered Veterinary Technician to join our advanced orthopedic and sports medicine team.
You will support patients through surgery, rehabilitation, and recovery with skilled nursing care, client education, diagnostics, and advocacy, thriving in a collaborative, high-skill environment that values growth and guided learning opportunities.
Qualifications
- CVT/RVT/LVT active and current.
- Minimum 2 years of direct patient care in a clinical setting.
- Superior technical skills including venipuncture, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring.
- Experience in orthopedic, surgery, rehabilitation preferred.
- Strong communication and organization skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist in orthopedic and rehabilitation cases and direct patient care.
- Provide nursing care and client education throughout treatment.
- Support diagnostic procedures and anesthesia monitoring.
- Communicate clearly with team and families.
