Job summary

Connecticut Orthopaedics is seeking a Part-Time Urgent Care Physician Assistant in Hamden, CT. The PA will evaluate and treat acute orthopedic injuries, order imaging, and collaborate with surgeons and radiology staff to deliver timely, high-quality care.

Requirements include PA licensure in the state and graduation from an accredited PA program, with at least 2 years in orthopedics preferred. Monday–Friday, 9:00am–1:00pm, with a starting salary of $62,000–$75,000 per year and a $2,500 sign-on

Qualifications

• Licensed Physician Assistant (state of jurisdiction)
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program
• Minimum 2 years of orthopedic experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic imaging and other tests.
• Perform orthopedic procedures including splinting, casting, injections, and reduction.
• Develop treatment plans and provide patient education on recovery and prevention.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for seamless care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation.
