Memorial Home Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Orthopedic Unit (4E) in Springfield, IL. The role supports patients undergoing orthopedic surgeries and complex wound care, with emphasis on pain management, wound care, and discharge planning.

The position is part-time on day shift, with two 12-hour shifts per week and every third weekend rotation. Responsibilities include delegating care, adhering to nursing standards, and contributing to quality improvements within the unit.

Qualifications

• RN license and current state licensure
• Experience on an Orthopedic Unit preferred
• Strong patient care and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to orthopedic patients per nursing process
• Delegate, supervise, and coordinate care for assigned patients
• Participate in quality improvement and evidence-based practice
• Support discharge planning and transitions to home or extended care facilities
