PeaceHealth in Bellingham, WA seeks a BC/BE Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon for per diem relief coverage. The role includes hospital-based duties with a small outpatient component and a 12-hour day shift in a trauma-focused team.

Formación

• Experience in orthopedic traumatology, including complex trauma cases.
• Strong communication and teamwork with diverse care teams.
• Willingness to serve community and hospital programs.
• BC/BE board-certified in orthopedic surgery

Responsabilidades

• Primarily hospital-based with a small outpatient component.
• Be part of a team of trauma-trained surgeons for 12-hour day shifts.
• Take required shifts for trauma/orthopedic hospitalist program.
• Conduct follow-up appointments from trauma and Emergency Department.
• Work with Epic EMR for documentation and orders.

Ideal Candidate

• Demonstrated experience in Orthopedic Traumatology
• Comfortable with both general and complex trauma cases
• Excellent communicator with a collaborative approach and ability to work well with all stakeholders involved in a patient’s care
• Enthusiasm for serving the community and supporting the Orthopedic program

Hourly per diem/relief rate: $379.40
