Job summary

PeaceHealth is seeking a BC/BE Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to provide per diem/relief coverage in Bellingham, Washington. This role involves working primarily in a hospital setting with a dedicated trauma team and a 12-hour day shift, including trauma and orthopedic hospitalist coverage.

The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience in orthopaedic traumatology, handles general and complex trauma cases, and communicates effectively with all care stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in Orthopedic Traumatology.
• Comfortable with both general and complex trauma cases.
• Excellent communicator with a collaborative approach and ability to work well with all stakeholders involved in a patient's care.
• Enthusiasm for serving the community and supporting the Orthopedic program.

Responsibilities

• Take required shifts for trauma/orthopedic hospitalist program.
• Follow up appointments from trauma and Emergency Department.
• Work as part of a team of Trauma-trained surgeons for a 12-hour day shift.
