Job summary

NPHire is seeking an orthopedic trauma clinician to cover Level 1 trauma center operations. The role includes day shifts from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekdays and 24-hour call on weekends, with OR coverage and ICU/hospital rounding.

You will manage Level 1 trauma cases, provide ED consultations and post-operative care for orthopedic trauma patients, averaging about 20 patients per day. ACLS or ATLS certification and proficiency with eClinicalWorks EMR are required.

Qualifications

• ACLS or ATLS certification required.
• Experience with reductions and wash out procedures.
• Proficiency with eClinical Works EMR system.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive orthopedic trauma surgery coverage with day shifts from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekdays and 24-hour call shifts on weekends.
• Manage Level 1 trauma cases with OR coverage, ICU rounding, hospital rounding, overnight call coverage, and post-operative visits.
• Provide ED support, consultations, and post-operative care for orthopedic trauma patients with an average daily volume of 20 patients.
