Job summary

SolutionHealth is seeking an Orthopedic Technologist to support orthopedic and sports medicine providers in Nashua. You will apply and remove casts, splints, and braces and educate patients on injury care and mobility aids. You will assist with patient intake, discharge, and ensure proper use of orthopedic equipment.

• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Skill in applying/removing casts, splints, braces.
• Ability to educate patients on injury care and mobility aids.
• Comfortable using EMR systems and basic computer tasks.

Responsibilities

• Apply and remove casts, splints, braces, and other orthopedic devices.
• Assist with patient intake, discharge, and mobility assistance.
• Educate patients and caregivers on cast care and use of mobility aids.
• Maintain documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Adhere to HIPAA, infection control and safety guidelines.
