Job summary

Duke Health is seeking an Orthopedic Technologist to support the orthopaedic team in Morrisville, NC. You will assist with casting, immobilization devices, patient measurements, and clinic flow, under physician direction.

The role requires casting and orthopaedic experience; HS diploma and anatomy coursework are preferred. Work hours are day shifts, Monday‑Friday, with no weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• Casting experience and 2 years orthopaedic experience preferred.
• Ortho Tech Certification preferred but not required.
• High School Diploma / GED required; coursework in Anatomy and Physiology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and nursing staff with casting procedures and removal of casts and splints.
• Assist with documentation and measurements (blood pressure, height, weight) and prepare examination rooms.
• Set up instruments, fabricate splints, braces, and orthopaedic devices; aid in reductions of fractures and dislocations.
