Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• Course work in Anatomy and Physiology preferred.
• Casting experience and 2 years orthopaedic experience preferred.
• Ortho Tech Certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to articulate descriptions of orthopaedic conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and nursing personnel with casting procedures and dressings.
• Measure patient vitals and document in EPIC.
• Apply braces, prosthetics, orthotics, and assist with traction setup.
• Prepare examination rooms and maintain instrument readiness.
• Educate patients on cast care and wound care.
• Support clinic flow and coordinate patient care.
• Sterilize supplies and manage inventory.
• Perform other related duties as directed.
