Job summary

ReVive Orthopedics Spine & Sports Medicine is seeking an Orthopedic Technician to support surgical procedures and cast-related care. You will apply and adjust immobilization devices, educate patients, and assist with in-office procedures while maintaining infection control standards.

Ideal candidates bring NBCOT/ASOP and BLS certifications, 3+ years in casting and DME, and a compassionate, patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Orthopedic Technician program or equivalent military training within the last 3 years.
High School Diploma or GED is required.
Minimum three years of orthopedic technologist experience (casting, splinting, DME).
Total orthopedic technologist experience of five years is preferred.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, fracture types, sterile techniques, and casting/procedures.

Responsibilities

Apply casts, splints, braces, slings, and other immobilization devices per provider directions.
Evaluate and adjust devices for comfort, circulation, and effectiveness.
Remove casts, splints, and appliances safely.
Educate patients on proper device use and care.
Prepare patients for exams with vitals and history; document in EMR.
Assist with in-office procedures and maintain sterile instruments.
