Job summary

Mercy is seeking an Orthopedic Technician to assist physicians in delivering orthopedic care to patients. Under physician supervision, you will support the team with casts, splints and surgical technology, ensuring high-quality patient interactions.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years as orthopedic technician, unless OTC certified.
• Knowledge: Physiology, anatomy and medical terminology; competency in applying casts and splints and surgical tech.

Responsibilities

• Assist in rendering care and services to orthopedic patients under physician supervision.
• Support orthopedic team with casts, splints, wound care and related procedures as trained.
