Job summary

You will collaborate with surgeons, assist with brace fitting and post-procedure care, and work with Patient Care Assistants and CMAs. Required CMA or Registered Orthopedic Technician certification plus BLS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Completed accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Certified CMA or Registered Orthopedic Technician.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience: 2+ years CMA or ROT certification.

Responsibilities

• Cast, brace and apply orthotics as directed by physician.
• Assist with suture/staple removal and dressing changes.
• Support Ambulatory Intake, rooming patients and discharge info.
• Monitor supplies and manage within annual budget.
• May serve as a CMA during staffing shortages and ensure compliance.
