Job summary

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to relate patients in a kind and cooperative manner.
• Ortho Tech training or related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Receives orders, verifies with the nurse and applies or removes ortho devices as ordered.
• Maintains Cast Cart and inventories ortho supplies.
• Assists therapists and physicians with casts, traction and patient rounds as requested.
• Documents services in the patient chart and hospital systems.
