Job summary

St. Luke’s Health System is seeking an Orthopedic Technician/DME Coordinator to join a growing program delivering orthopedic braces and durable medical equipment. You will work directly with patients and clinicians to fit devices, educate patients, and ensure a smooth care experience from diagnosis through recovery.

The role involves inventory management and collaboration with clinical and operational teams, with a focus on improving access and outcomes for patients in our community.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/GED.
• Experience: 2-years related experience.
• Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Directly work with patients, physicians, and clinic staff to deliver orthopedic braces and other durable medical equipment at the point of care.
• Perform device fitting and educate patients on prescribed devices.
• Manage inventory and document activities; collaborate with clinical and operational teams to ensure seamless care from diagnosis through recovery.

Join an innovative healthcare team transforming how orthopedic bracing and durable medical equipment are delivered to patients. DME Coordinators play a critical role in providing hands-on patient support, fitting and educating patients on prescribed devices, managing inventory, and partnering with clinical teams to ensure a seamless care experience from diagnosis through recovery.

What You Can Expect:

• In this role, you will work directly with patients, physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinic staff to deliver orthopedic braces and other durable medical equipment at the point of care.
• Each day will include a mix of patient interaction, device fitting and education, inventory management, documentation, and collaboration with clinical and operational teams to help patients receive the right products and support when they need them most.
• You’ll be part of a growing, innovative program that improves patient access, enhances continuity of care, and supports better clinical outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 2-years related experience
• Licenses/Certifications:

• Preferred qualifications:
  • Orthopedic experience
  • Experience with Orthopedic bracing
