Job summary

Providence Medical Foundation in California is hiring an Orthopedic Technician to join a team of board-certified physicians and a multidisciplinary care group. You will assist physicians with patient care, procedures, and education in a fast-paced orthopedic setting at St Jude Medical Plaza.

The ideal candidate has completed an accredited orthopedic technical training program, is prepared to obtain BLS within 30 days of hire, and has about one year of full-time experience in orthopedic patient

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited orthopedic technical training program.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
  • 1 year full-time experience in orthopedic patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Assist physicians with patient care and orthopedic procedures.
  • Educate patients on post-procedure care and devices.
  • Support a multi-disciplinary care team to deliver patient-centered care.

Required Qualifications:
  • Coursework/Training and Completion of an accredited orthopedic technical training program.
  • Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • 1 year full-time work experience in a hospital, clinic or office setting, working directly in the treatment of orthopedic patients.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Upon hire: NBCOT certification

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Pay Range: $26.30 - $40.25
