Job summary

Mass General Brigham at Tuscan Village in Salem, NH is seeking a Full-time Orthopedic Tech/Medical Assistant to support the orthopedic suite onsite, with rotating shifts 8:30am-5:00pm or 7:30am-4:00pm.

Under supervision, this role assists with casts, braces, DME, traction, and patient care, including cast care instructions and mobility aids. Prior orthopedic experience is preferred, with BLS/OTC certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related patient care experience in orthopedics preferred.
• BLS certification preferred; OTC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and apply traction per procedures.
• Assist with application of casts, braces, and prostheses.
• Inspect and maintain orthopedic equipment.
• Instruct patients in cast care and use of crutches or canes.
• Assist doctors with rounds and basic device fabrication.
