Job summary

Responsibilities

• Applies, adjusts, and removes casts and fits splints for orthopedic patients.
• Assists in reduction of fractures and prepares dressings.
• Maintains supply levels in cast and treatment rooms and documents interventions.
• Instructs patients in care of casts, braces, crutches and other ortho equipment.
