Job summary

Nemours Children’s Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Orthopedic Tech I to support casting procedures and orthopedic equipment management in our clinic. You will assist providers, room patients, document vital signs, and ensure accurate EMR entries and coding for ICD-9/CPT-4.

Under provider supervision, you will coordinate tests and procedures, prepare exam rooms, and maintain casting materials. A high school diploma and BLS certification are required, with 1–3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with rooming of patients and documenting vital signs.
• Enter patient information into EMR and ensure documentation.

• Assist provider with procedures and scheduling tests.
• Prepare, clean and stock exam rooms; cross-cover in other departments.
