Responsibilities

• Adheres to mission and policies of Tenet Physician Resources and HIPAA compliance.
• Assist in care of patients by fitting pre-operative braces and crutches and prepping for tests.
• Prepare and apply casts and orthopedic appliances.
• Assist with orthopedic procedures including wound care and fracture reductions.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment; sterilize and store instruments per policy.
• Route slips and charge tickets with CPT/ICD codes.
• Follow PPE requirements for protection against exposures.
• Observe radiation safety and OSHA guidelines.
• Inventory and maintain departmental supplies at defined levels.
