Job summary

Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush, LLC seeks a certified Orthopedic Technologist or Medical Assistant for a full-time, on-site role in Munster, Indiana. You will work with physicians to perform orthopedics services, including casting, splinting, wound care, venipuncture, and specimen preparation.

Travel to additional clinics may be required. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of orthopedic/healthcare experience, plus relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One or more years of orthopedic or healthcare experience required.
• Certified Orthopedic Technologist and Certified Medical Assistant certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and clinical staff in the full scope of orthopedics services.
• Casting, splinting, dressing changes, wound care and phlebotomy.
• Prepare treatment rooms and assist with rooming patients.
• Travel to other clinics may be required.
• Order supplies and maintain inventory.
