Job summary

OrthoNebraska is seeking a Surgical Technologist to manage instruments and maintain a sterile field during procedures, ensuring quality patient care and safety. You will anticipate surgeons’ needs, perform scrub duties, and support a high-performing orthopedic team.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Surgical Technician program or equivalent on-the-job training, BLS certification within 90 days, and 1+ year of surgical experience preferred. Sign-On Bonus: $5,000.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technician program (or equivalent on-the-job training).
• BLS certification required or within 90 days of hire.
• 1+ year of surgical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sterile field during surgical procedures using aseptic technique.
• Perform scrub duties accurately, concisely and timely.
• Assist with orthopedic procedures and anticipate surgeon needs.
• Identify locations and secure supplies/equipment in the department.
• Promote teamwork and effective communication among health care staff.
