Job summary

AMN Healthcare has an opportunity for an Orthopedic Surgery Physician Assistant (PA) to support a locum tenens assignment in California. The role focuses on outpatient orthopedic cases, including total joints, injections, and routine follow-up.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, with credentialing typically taking 60+ days. BLS, ACLS, and board certification, plus an active California PA license, are required. EPIC is the EMR used, and AMN handles travel and lodging arrangements.

This facility is seeking an Orthopedic Surgery Physician Assistant (PA) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

• Types of Cases: Typical orthopedic outpatient cases, total joints, return patients, and injections
• Credentialing Timeframe: 60+ days

• Certifications Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification, and a Board Certification
• Licensure Required: Active California License
