As a Locum PA in orthopedic surgery, you will play a vital role in assisting orthopedic surgeons with pre‑operative and post‑operative care, conducting patient assessments, and helping in the surgical environment. This position allows you to engage with a diverse patient population and work alongside a team of dedicated healthcare professionals, all while making a significant impact on patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the evaluation and management of orthopedic patients
• Conduct physical examinations and assess patient conditions
• Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons to develop treatment plans
• Provide pre‑operative and post‑operative care to patients
• Educate patients and families on orthopedic procedures and recovery
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely
• Perform minor surgical procedures under supervision
• Participate in patient rounds and assist in the operating room

Requirements

• Associate degree with PA certification
• Experience in orthopedic surgery preferred
• Strong clinical assessment skills and medical knowledge
