Job summary

MUSC Health – Midlands Division in Columbia, SC is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join the Orthopedic Surgery team, serving Columbia, Elgin and Camden. The role supports clinic operations, inpatient management, surgical coordination and postoperative follow-up in a high-performing program.

Qualifications

• AP provider (NP or PA) with orthopedic or hospital medicine background.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage inpatients with surgeons and hospital teams.
• Daily rounding, evaluations, admissions, consultations, and discharges.
• Perioperative care coordination and postoperative management.
• Support surgical workflows and continuity of care across inpatient services.
• Educate patients and families to optimize recovery.
