Job summary

HSHS Medical Group in Effingham, Illinois, is recruiting a BE/BC orthopedic surgeon to join our established practice. The position offers a set base salary with the opportunity to out-earn through productivity and quality bonuses, along with loan forgiveness options and relocation support.

The role features a Monday–Friday clinic schedule, limited after-hours call, EPIC EMR, and robotic cases. Requires an Illinois license, ABOS board certification or eligibility, and willingness to perform

Qualifications

• Clinical doctorate is required.
• Unrestricted Illinois license prior to start.
• Board certified or board eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Ability and willingness to perform shoulder cases.

Responsibilities

• Clinic Monday–Friday with option of 4-day work week.
• 7 days per month of call; minimal after-hours clinic call.
• Utilize EPIC EMR in daily workflow.
• Dedicated RN First Assist in clinic and OR support.
• Robotics available for selected surgical cases.
