Excelsia Injury Care is seeking a board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon to oversee diagnosis and treatment of occupational and motor vehicle injuries across Philadelphia-area offices. A PA medical license and MD/DO are required, with optional cross-office scheduling.

You may perform surgery when needed, order tests, and guide patients back to work, while adhering to our ESG commitments and patient-centered care standards. Comprehensive benefits accompany a Monday–Friday schedule.

Formación

• MD/DO degree from an accredited educational institution.
• Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Ability to obtain and maintain PA medical license.
• BLS/ACLS certifications.
• DEA license.

• Prepare patients for return to work after illness or injury.
• Recommend tests to determine extent of injury and to determine appropriate treatment.

Job Duties

• Oversee the patient’s diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuries
• Prepare patients for return to work after illness or injury
• Recommend tests to determine extent of injury and to determine appropriate treatment
• May perform surgery if needed

• MD/DO from an accredited educational institution
• Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Pennsylvania
• Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
• Basic Life Support/Advanced Cardiac Life Support certificationDEA license
• Ability to effectively interact with doctors, patients, and co-workers
• Tact and skill in patient management
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to mentor and supervise staff
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Medicine – Knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformities. This includes symptoms, treatment alternatives, drug properties and interactions, and preventive health-care measures
• Customer and Personal Service – Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction

Physical/Mental Requirements

Sitting, standing, walking, reaching above shoulder length, working with body bent over at waist, working in kneeling position, crawling, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, working with arms extended at shoulder length, lifting max. of 20 lbs.
