MaineHealth Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Farmington, Maine seeks a BC/BE physician to join their per diem, hospital-employed practice. The successful candidate will provide a mix of general orthopedic outpatient, inpatient, and surgical care and develop subspecialty interests within a supportive team.

You will join our group of Orthopedic Surgeons, Podiatrist and APP providers in Farmington with a diverse rehab department and collaboration across MaineHealth.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Active and unrestricted State of Maine medical license, or ability to obtain prior employment.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible.

Responsibilities

• Provide a mix of general orthopedic outpatient, inpatient, and surgical care.
• Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, podiatrist and APPs to support a busy program.

The successful candidate will provide a mix of general orthopedic outpatient, inpatient, and surgical care while also having the opportunity to develop their practice within a subspecialty interest. The successful candidate will join our current highly skilled Orthopedic Surgeons, Podiatrist and APP providers in our Orthopedics program in Farmington. A diverse physical rehabilitation department supports the Orthopedics program. In addition to local colleagues there is collaboration with the orthopedic surgery service line throughout MaineHealth.

The pay rate for this position is $351.00 to $415.00 per hour
