Job summary

MaineHealth Orthopedics and Sports Medicine seeks a BC/BE physician to join a busy, hospital-employed practice in Farmington, Maine. You will provide outpatient, inpatient, and surgical orthopedic care and have the opportunity to develop a subspecialty within a collaborative program.

The team includes Orthopedic Surgeons, a Podiatrist and APPs with strong rehabilitation support, and MaineHealth’s expansive network for collaboration.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible physician.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in Maine or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide a mix of general orthopedic outpatient, inpatient, and surgical care.
• Collaborate with Orthopedic Surgeons, Podiatrist and APPs; support with a diverse rehab department.
• Develop subspecialty interests within the orthopedic program in Farmington.

MaineHealth Orthopedics and Sports Medicine is currently seeking a BC/BE physician to join their busy and dynamic group in their hospital-employed practice located in Farmington, Maine. The successful candidate will provide a mix of general orthopedic outpatient, inpatient, and surgical care while also having the opportunity to develop their practice within a subspecialty interest. The successful candidate will join our current highly skilled Orthopedic Surgeons, Podiatrist and APP providers in our Orthopedics program in Farmington. A diverse physical rehabilitation department supports the Orthopedics program. In addition to local colleagues there is collaboration with the orthopedic surgery service line throughout MaineHealth.

Minimum Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Active and unrestricted State of Maine medical license, or ability to obtain prior employment.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible.

The annual base salary for this position is $608,811.00. In addition to base pay, MaineHealth offers comprehensive benefits, recognition programs and career growth opportunities.
