Job summary

Salem Health Hospitals & Clinics is seeking a BC/BE physician to join their orthopedic team in Farmington, Maine. In this full-time role, you will provide outpatient, inpatient, and surgical care while developing a subspecialty practice. Physician – MH Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, Farmington

Schedule: Full Time – Day Shift | Req#: 73733

MaineHealth Orthopedics and Sports Medicine is seeking a BC/BE physician to join their busy and dynamic group in a hospital‑employed practice located in Farmington, Maine. The successful candidate will provide general orthopedic outpatient, inpatient, and surgical care while also having the opportunity to develop their practice within a subspecialty interest. The physician will work alongside skilled orthopedic surgeons, a podiatrist, and advanced practice providers in our orthopedics program, supported by a diverse physical rehabilitation department and collaboration across the MaineHealth orthopedic surgery service line.

Responsibilities

• Provide general orthopedic outpatient, inpatient, and surgical care.
• Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, podiatrists, and APPs within the orthopedics program.
• Develop and grow a subspecialty practice within the group.
• Engage in team‑based, collaborative care model.

Minimum Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Active and unrestricted State of Maine medical license, or ability to obtain one prior to employment.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in orthopedics.
