Job summary

Legacy Health in Oregon is seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon to deliver comprehensive medical and surgical care across offices, outpatient, and inpatient settings. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to resident education.

You will care for pediatric through geriatric patients, participate in trauma coverage, and uphold Legacy’s commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care. Board eligibility/certification, ABOS, and BLS required; trauma privileges require ATLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of four-year U.S. Medical School or equivalent.
• Completion of ACGME accredited residency in orthopedic surgery.
• Fellowship in subspecialty area of orthopedic surgery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides a full range of orthopedic care, to include general orthopedics and pediatric orthopedics, in office, outpatient, or inpatient settings.
• Provides non-trauma coverage on an on-call capacity for Emanuel Hospital.
• Provides office follow up of orthopedic patients.
• Participates in resident education for OHSU orthopedic surgery trainees.
• Participates in Legacy Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement programs.
• Completes medical records, coding and billing schedules in a timely fashion.
• Participates in Legacy research activities.
• Works with infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and elderly patients.

Education
