Qualifications

• U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen per VA policy.
• MD degree from a VA-approved school.
• Current full and unrestricted medical license in the U.S.
• Completed residency in an approved core specialty.
• Board certification or eligibility as required for the specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provide orthopedic surgical care in outpatient, inpatient, and OR settings.
• Supervise residents and physician extenders as assigned.
• Participate in departmental governance and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with federal and VA policies and clinical guidelines.
• Engage in teaching and mentoring of trainees and staff.
