Job summary

Excelsia Injury Care is seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon to oversee diagnosis and treatment of occupations- and motor-vehicle-related injuries. The role requires a Pennsylvania-licensed MD/DO board-certified in Orthopedic Surgery, with capability to travel 2 days per week between Glen Burnie and Catonsville, MD.

The physician will manage patient care, coordinate tests, and contribute to a patient-centered, ESG-aligned care model across multiple centers.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree and valid medical license in Pennsylvania.
• Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery is required.
• Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
• DEA license and credentialing as a physician.
• Ability to manage and coordinate patient care within a multi-site system.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the patient's diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuries.
• Prepare patients for return to work after illness or injury.
• Recommend tests to determine extent of injury and to determine appropriate treatment.
• May perform surgery if needed.
• Uphold the company's mission to provide exceptional patient care and leads in a way that aligns with the company's ESG goals.

Minimum Requirements

• MD/DO from an accredited educational institution
• Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Pennsylvania
• Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
• Favorable malpractice history
• Basic Life Support/Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
• DEA license

Physical/Mental Requirements

Sitting, standing, walking, reaching above shoulder length, working with body bent over at waist, working in kneeling position, crawling, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, working with arms extended at shoulder length, lifting max. of 20 lbs.
