Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an LCME/COCA-accredited school or foreign equivalent with ECFMG where required.
• Full or unrestricted license from any US state or territory to practice medicine.
• U.S. board certification in Orthopedic Surgery is preferred; board eligibility acceptable per VA policy.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive histories and physicals for orthopedic patients.
• Order and interpret appropriate lab work, imaging, and diagnostic tests.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for orthopedic conditions.
• Perform inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures and post-operative care.
• Collaborate with the Primary Care Team and other specialists to coordinate patient care.
