Job summary

The Cincinnati VA Medical Center seeks an Orthopedic Surgeon to provide comprehensive surgical and non-surgical care for veterans, in both inpatient and outpatient settings. You will assist in educating residents and students and may pursue research opportunities while taking on committee and administrative duties.

Applicants should have an MD from a VA-approved school, a current unrestricted license, VA-approved residency in Orthopedic Surgery or equivalent, and board certification or

MD degree from a VA-approved medical school.
Current full and unrestricted medical license in a U.S. state or D.C.
VA-approved residency in Orthopedic Surgery or equivalent training.
Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery.
Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

Provide quality surgical and non-surgical care to inpatient and outpatient veterans.
Assist in clinical education of residents and students and supervise training.
Pursue research opportunities when available or desired.
Participate in administrative assignments, such as committee membership.
Deliver care across inpatient, outpatient, and telemedicine settings within VA sites.
