Concentra, one of the largest health care companies in the nation, is looking for an orthopedic surgeon to come on site as a 1099 independent contractor. This contract position is designed to complement your current practice, involving treating patients onsite at Concentra for about a 4-hour shift weekly or biweekly.

Concentra Advanced Specialists help manage medically complex patients, facilitate return to work, and promote functional restoration. Collaborating with medical and therapy providers, you will deliver both non-surgical and surgical orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal care for work-related injuries. You will also communicate with employers and participate actively in case management, making a significant difference in patients' lives.

Responsibilities

• Provide care during half a day per week or biweekly
• Offer flexible scheduling considering your private practice commitments
• This is an independent contractor role with compensation based on a revenue share model

Qualifications

• Experience in treating patients with work-related injuries (preferred)
• State licensure requirements met
• Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program
• Unrestricted DEA license in the jurisdiction
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery
• Medical Malpractice Insurance coverage for onsite work
