Concentra, one of the largest healthcare companies in the nation, is seeking an orthopedic spine surgeon to work on-site as a 1099 independent contractor. This contract role is designed to complement your current practice, involving treating patients on-site at Concentra for approximately a 4-hour shift weekly or biweekly.

Concentra Advanced Specialists assist in managing medically complex patients, expediting return to work and functional restoration. Collaborating with medical and therapy providers, you will provide both non-surgical and surgical orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal services for work-related injuries. You will also communicate with employers and actively participate in case management, making a significant impact on patients' lives.

Responsibilities

• Provide services during half a day per week or biweekly
• Offer flexible scheduling to accommodate your private practice

This position is an independent contractor role with compensation based on a revenue share model.

Qualifications

• Experience in treating patients with work-related injuries (preferred)
• Licensure requirements of the state of practice
• Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program
• Unrestricted DEA license for the jurisdiction
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Orthopedic Spine Surgery
• Medical Malpractice Insurance coverage for on-site work
