Job summary

Concentra, Inc. is seeking an orthopedic surgeon to join on site as a 1099 independent contractor working approximately a 4-hour shift weekly or biweekly.

The role supports on-site evaluation and treatment for work-related injuries, with collaboration across medical and therapy teams. Ideal candidates will have an MD/DO, active licensure, and board eligibility/certification in Orthopedic Surgery, plus DEA and malpractice coverage.

Qualifications

• Experience treating work-related injuries.
• State licensure requirements.
• Graduate of an MD or DO program at an accredited university.
• Unrestricted DEA license for the jurisdiction.
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery.

Responsibilities

• Provide orthopedic care on site for Concentra patients, non-surgical and surgical services as needed.
• Collaborate with medical and therapy providers and communicate with employers.
• Participate in case management to facilitate return-to-work and functional restoration.
