Job summary

OhioHealth in Athens, Ohio, is seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon to join a physician-led team. You will participate in general orthopedic care, including joint replacement and arthroscopic procedures, with teaching opportunities for residents and medical students.

The position offers a balanced schedule with a rotating call and strong support from a physician-led system committed to work-life balance.

Qualifications

• BC/BE in Orthopedic Surgery required or eligible.
• Hand, wrist, or spine specialization strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Join three other physicians and two PAs in an orthopedic practice in Athens, Ohio.
• General orthopedic surgery, total joint replacement, ligament and tendon repairs, joint instability, fracture care, ORIF, arthroscopic joint surgery.
• Resident and med student rotations through Ohio University, teaching opportunities.
• Call schedule: every other week, Monday through Monday call, 30 min location call restriction.

• Open to specialists, but no current need for any additional orthopedic sports specialists
• Resident and med student rotations through Ohio University, teaching opportunities
