Qualifications

• Board-certified orthopaedic surgeon.
• Minimal joint replacement experience – mandatory.
• Experience or training in minimally invasive techniques preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform total joint replacement (knee and hip) surgeries; experience or training is mandatory.
• Perform minimally invasive procedures; training or experience preferred.
• Provide pre‑ and post‑operative care, including coordination with outpatient therapy and home health services.
• Assist in surgical blocks and attend to a full range of orthopedic, general, oncology, OB/GYN, ophthalmology, urological, and podiatric services.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary medical team and dedicated Advanced Practice Provider.

Orthopedic Surgeon

We are a thriving healthcare system inviting an Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team in Olney, IL, approximately 2 hours from Champaign‑Urbana and Chicago. The role focuses on improving patient lives through comprehensive orthopedic care and continuous learning.

Location

Olney, IL – a 25‑bed Critical Access, DNV accredited facility serving eight southeastern Illinois counties. All surgeries will be performed in 5 operating rooms, with dedicated clinic hours and a full‑time Advanced Practice Provider and support staff.

Responsibilities and Clinical Scope

• Perform total joint replacement (knee and hip) surgeries; experience or training is mandatory.
• Perform minimally invasive procedures; training or experience preferred.
• Provide pre‑ and post‑operative care, including coordination with outpatient therapy and home health services.
