The compensation is highly competitive at $700,000–$725,000 plus robust benefits, relocation, CME allowance, and tail-covered malpractice.

• Experience in comprehensive general orthopedics.
• Comfortably handle general orthopedic call; no trauma call.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive general orthopedics care to patients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including pain physicians, sports medicine, APPs, therapists.
• Participate in clinic and surgical duties per rotation.

An established orthopedic practice in central Illinois, ~1 hour from Springfield is seeking a BE/BC Orthopedic Surgeon to join its experienced team.

Position Highlights:

• Established practice with a strong community referral base
• Fellowship-trained candidates welcome
• Comprehensive General Orthopedics opportunity
• Must be comfortable taking General Orthopedic call
• No trauma call
• 2 days clinic, 2 days surgery and ½ day at an outreach location
• Rotating call schedule
• Join a multidisciplinary team of orthopedic surgeons, pain physicians, sports medicine, surgical DPMs, APPs, physical therapists, occupational therapists and a sports psychologist
• Dedicated RN for each surgeon
• State-of-the-art facility with onsite MRI, digital X-ray, weight-bearing CT, DEXA, ultrasound with Doppler and fluoroscopy
• Onsite walk-in sports injury clinic and bone health clinic
• Surgical, pain management and therapy services available onsite
• Opportunity for academic and/or research affiliation with a medical school focused on the intersection of healthcare and engineering
