Job summary

Search Station is recruiting on behalf of a confidential client a high-volume orthopedic practice in Houston, Texas specializing in acute musculoskeletal and personal injury care within a multidisciplinary care model.

The practice is seeking an experienced Orthopedic Extremity Surgeon to provide surgical and procedural care for patients presenting with acute upper and lower extremity injuries, working alongside a multidisciplinary team in an inpatient / acute care environment.

Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
  • Active Texas medical license or eligibility for Texas licensure.
  • Strong experience treating orthopedic and extremity-related injuries.
  • Strong surgical and procedural expertise.
  • Ability to manage acute injury cases efficiently.
  • Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and diagnose acute musculoskeletal injuries involving the upper and lower extremities.
  • Treat orthopedic injuries associated with trauma and personal injury cases.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans using surgical and non-surgical approaches.
  • Perform extremity-focused orthopedic surgical and procedural interventions.
  • Manage patients throughout the treatment and recovery process.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare providers to coordinate patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, care teams, and relevant case stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Exercise independent clinical judgment while following appropriate standards of care.
