Job summary

Lee Health's Orthopedics Institute is seeking a full-time Sports Medicine Orthopedic Surgery Medical Director to join a busy practice. Board-certified/eligible in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine with ROSA robotics experience preferred.

The role leads our sports medicine fellowship and collaborates with a team of eight physicians and nine advanced providers. Call coverage includes nighttime ER, with weekend duties as described.

Qualifications

• Board eligible/certified in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine.
• Minimum two years of post-training experience.
• ROSA robot experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help lead the sports medicine fellowship within the Orthopedics Institute.
• Join a busy 8-physician and 9-advanced-provider practice.
• Provide leadership in clinical care and program development.

Lee Health is seeking a Sports Medicine Orthopedic Surgery Medical Director to join our busy practice!

The organization has four acute care hospitals and one specialty hospital that together house over 1,800 hospital beds.

Position Information:

The Lee Health Orthopedics Institute is seeking a full-time physician board eligible/certified in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine to join their busy 8 physician and 9 advanced provider practice, where the ideal candidate will help lead our sports medicine fellowship. Minimum two years of experience post training required. Call coverage for this position will be 2 nights per month general orthopedic ER call and 1:5 weekend office call. ROSA robot experience preferred.
