Job summary

Lee Health in Fort Myers, FL, is seeking a fellowship-trained Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join a well-established group. BE/BC in Cardio-Thoracic Surgery, and you must hold or be eligible for a Florida medical license and an active DEA.

The position offers opportunities to perform CABG, valve repair/replacement, and thoracic oncology, with access to minimally invasive and robotic techniques, a strong support team, and a focus on exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• This physician must be fellowship-trained and BE/BC in Cardio-Thoracic Surgery.
• Must have or be able to obtain a Florida medical license and an active DEA.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard cardiac surgeries including CABG, valve repair/replacement, and aortic procedures.
• Develop expertise in minimally invasive and robotic techniques.

Position Information:

Lee Health is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our well-established group!

The right candidate should be fellowship trained and BE/BC in Cardio-Thoracic Surgery. This physician must have or be able to obtain a clear and active license in the State of Florida as well as an unrestricted DEA.

This position will afford the surgeon to complete a significant amount of standard cardiac surgeries including but not limited to CABG, valve repair/replacement, aortic dissection, etc. There is also the opportunity to practice minimally invasive and robotic techniques for cardiac surgery and thoracic/thoracic oncology surgery.
