Peachtree Spine & Sports Physicians in Atlanta, GA is seeking a board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon to join our physician-led team. The role involves clinic duties, operative procedures, and coordinating patient care across PSP locations.

The ideal candidate will have an MD with an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency, active Georgia license or eligibility, and DEA registration. Epic experience is a plus; BLS/ACLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• MD with completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency.
• Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Active Georgia medical license in good standing (or eligible).
• Current DEA registration.
• Eligibility for medical staff privileges at Atlanta area facilities/ASC.
• BLS/ACLS certification.

Responsabilités

• Provide compassionate care within a team of physiatrists and physical therapists.
• See patients in clinic, perform procedures/surgeries, and manage recovery.
• Maintain a regular clinic schedule across PSP locations with nonoperative pathways when appropriate.
• Collaborate on pre-op workups, surgical criteria, and post-op protocols with our team.
• Provide surgical consultation to providers across the practice.
• Track patient outcomes and maintain Epic documentation.
• Build relationships with referring physicians and community partners.

Peachtree Spine & Sports Physicians is seeking a board-certified Orthopedic. PSP has been physician led since 2003 and has grown to nine locations across the Atlanta metro, treating spine, orthopedic, and sports medicine conditions through conservative management, physical therapy, imaging, and interventional procedures.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and work closely with a team of physiatrists and physical therapists
• See patients in clinic, perform procedures/surgeries, and follow patients through recovery
• Maintain a regular clinic schedule across PSP locations and treat patients nonoperatively when surgery isn't the right call or transfer to physiatry colleague
• Work with our physiatrists and PT team to set surgical criteria, pre-op workups, and post-op protocols
• Provide consultation on surgical questions from providers across the practice
• Track patient outcomes and keep Epic documentation current and complete
• Build relationships with referring physicians and community partners

Job Requirements

• MD with completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency
• Board certified or board eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Active Georgia medical license in good standing (or eligible), current DEA registration
• Eligible for medical staff privileges at Atlanta area facilities and ambulatory surgery centers
• Comfort with EHR documentation workflows, Epic experience is a plus
• BLS and ACLS certification
