Job summary

Peachtree Spine & Sports Physicians in Atlanta, GA is seeking a board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon for a full-time, on-site role across spine, orthopedic, and sports medicine conditions.

You will join a physician-led team, provide operative and nonoperative care, and participate in Epic documentation; competitive compensation starts above $500,000 plus benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, PTO and holidays.

Qualifications

• MD with completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency.
• Board certified or board eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Active Georgia medical license in good standing (or eligible), current DEA registration.
• Eligible for medical staff privileges at Atlanta area facilities and ambulatory surgery centers.
• Comfort with EHR documentation workflows; Epic experience is a plus.
• BLS and ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and work closely with a team of physiatrists and physical therapists
• See patients in clinic, perform procedures/surgeries, and follow patients through recovery
• Maintain a regular clinic schedule across PSP locations and treat patients nonoperatively when surgery isn't the right call or transfer to physiatry colleague
• Work with our physiatrists and PT team to set surgical criteria, pre-op workups, and post-op protocols
• Provide consultation on surgical questions from providers across the practice
• Track patient outcomes and keep Epic documentation current and complete
• Build relationships with referring physicians and community partners

Peachtree Spine & Sports Physicians is seeking a board-certified Orthopedic. PSP has been physician led since 2003 and has grown to nine locations across the Atlanta metro, treating spine, orthopedic, and sports medicine conditions through conservative management, physical therapy, imaging, and interventional procedures.

Job Responsibilities:
