HireNow Staffing (Direct Placement Partner) is recruiting an Orthopedic Sports Performance & Joint Restoration Surgeon for a hospital-employed, full-time position in Blue Creek, Ohio. The role focuses on sports medicine, arthroscopy, and complex musculoskeletal care.

The ideal candidate is board certified or board eligible in Orthopedic Surgery with fellowship training in Sports Medicine or equivalent expertise, and must be eligible for Ohio licensure.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Fellowship training in Sports Medicine Orthopedic Surgery preferred.
• Eligible for unrestricted Ohio medical licensure.
• DEA registration or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat sports-related orthopedic injuries.
• Perform arthroscopic and other advanced orthopedic procedures.
• Develop individualized treatment plans combining operative and non-operative care.
• Maintain outpatient clinics while managing surgical schedule.
• Collaborate with primary care, rehab, athletic trainers and care teams.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, options, recovery, and prevention.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and documentation in EMR.
• Share call coverage as assigned and support service growth.
