OrthoCarolina Spine Center in Charlotte seeks a Physician Assistant to provide medical care as delegated by OrthoCarolina physicians. You will assist in both office and hospital settings, support Spine Surgeons in surgeries, and manage care for orthopedic patients.

Essential duties include patient exams, ordering tests, performing injections and wound care, and maintaining accurate records. Prior orthopedic or surgical experience is preferred; NC PA licensure and NCCPA certification are

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of AMA accredited physician assistant program.
• Current North Carolina PA license.
• Certification by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Experience in orthopedics or surgical specialty is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Examines patient, performs physical examination, and compiles medical data.
• Orders/analyzes diagnostic tests and interprets results with surgeons.
• Performs procedures such as injections, suturing, and wound care.
• Assist-at-surgery for orthopedic procedures as needed.
• Develops patient management plans and documents care.
• Maintains patient records and discharge summaries.
• Rounds on inpatients and provides ER/floor consults as assigned.
